It was a pleasure working with Kelvin on our house renovation journey. As this was our first home, we had little experience on what to look out for, but Kelvin was able to advise us accordingly throughout the renovation process while keeping in mind our needs and theme. He worked with our budget and was transparent with the pricing of every item. The timeline of the renovation was well planned. Kelvin was effective in managing each task and handing over our house in a timely manner without any delays. When there were problems and feedback given, Kelvin was also prompt in working and rectifying the issues. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. After interviewing nearly 10 interior design firms, we chose Kelvin Tan from I Plan Studio—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during our renovation journey. He was also highly recommended by our neighbour, and now I completely understand why. Kelvin has broken every stereotype I had about interior designers. From day one, he was patient, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. No matter how many changes we requested—big or small—he was always ready with a smile. There was never any blame game, frustration, or attempt to make us feel guilty for changing our minds. In fact, he always made us feel heard, valued, and supported. What impressed me most was his attitude. Not once did he say, "It can't be done," nor did he ever make us feel that something was our fault. Instead, he listened carefully to our ideas, understood the mood boards and concepts we shared, and transformed them into a home that reflects exactly who we are. He didn't impose his own style—he brought our vision to life beautifully. In an industry where delays are often expected, Kelvin did the impossible. He never overpromised, but consistently delivered. Not only was the project completed on time, it was finished three days ahead of schedule. He even thoughtfully arranged the renovation timeline so that we could perform our pooja before moving in, ensuring everything was done according to our wishes. Throughout the entire process, he made us feel special and cared for. His attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and commitment to excellence are truly rare. Highly recommend Iplan Studio and our designer, Annie! As first-time homeowners, we were initially overwhelmed, but Annie took the time to truly understand our requirements. She provided excellent suggestions that balanced our budget with both aesthetics and functionality. Leveraging her experience, she was very honest about what was feasible, which made the planning process much easier. Communication was clear throughout the project, and the timeline was met exactly as proposed. A huge plus was the 720-degree visualization; it really helped us see the final look, and the actual outcome was remarkably close to the render. Thank you, Annie, for making this journey so seamless!
