I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Simon for his outstanding work as our replacement interior designer. After experiencing a disappointing setback with our previous designer, Simon stepped in and completely turned things around for us. Throughout the entire renovation process, he has demonstrated a level of professionalism and dedication that truly sets him apart. One of the qualities that impressed us the most was Simon's responsiveness and his willingness to go the extra mile for his clients. From the moment he took over, he ensured that he understood our needs and preferences, making it a point to consult with us before any installation took place. This level of communication and collaboration made us feel involved and confident in the decisions being made. Another aspect of Simon's service that we greatly appreciated was his consistent effort to keep us updated on the progress of the renovation. Communication is key during such projects, and Simon ensured that we were always well-informed about each step along the way. It gave us peace of mind knowing that he had everything under control and that our project was in capable hands. Despite the challenges left behind by the previous designer, Simon approached everything with a positive attitude and a determination to rectify the situation for us in the best possible way. His ability to handle unexpected issues and find creative solutions was truly impressive and alleviated much of the stress that we had previously experienced. Now, while our experience with Simon has been exceptional, there is one minor drawback that we encountered with the renovation process that is beyond his control. The choice of the paint company by Reno Diary resulted in a lackluster paint job, which I would rate as a 6 out of 10. We spotted several imperfections and had to go through multiple rounds of touch-ups. It's important to note that this issue is not Simon's fault, but rather a reflection of the paint company selected by the overall renovation service. In conclusion, we are incredibly satisfied with Simon's work and the final outcome of our renovated space. His responsiveness, consultation approach, and dedication to keeping us informed were exemplary. We highly recommend Simon as an interior designer for anyone seeking a professional and reliable partner for their renovation projects. Thank you, Simon, for making our dream home a reality despite the initial challenges we faced. P/s : Boss Ray is also very prompt and helpful to rectify some problems too. Overall= CAN BE IMPROVED 5 stars because the team have performed great service recovery too. Paint picture= this is even after paint touch up was done and we are tired with the paint work already. There are also weird color spots appearing on the wall after paint is done.

I have recently engaged “My Reno Pte Ltd” to do a complete makeover of my kitchen area. Ms Ann Yeow happened to be my ID whom I have the pleasure working with. Thank you sheng lee for helping us throughout our renovation journey. It was difficult to incorporate smart light and switches (cuz the switches and lights that we bought kept giving us issues) but u kept coming back to help us install many times. Sheng lee is responsible, replies promptly and is not afraid to get his hands dirty just to get the job done. Will highly recommend to my friends and family 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

"As a home owner planning to under go a 1st time major reno, naturally the first place we would look for is from online reviews. Came across MRD and decided to give it a try and we were lucky their ID Sheng Lee was sent to us. 1st impression from the very 1st meetup we were already quite comfortable talking to him. He seemed easy to communicate with and understood well from what we were expecting. Prompt in answering questions and polite. With the response from his quotation that we requested on the project, we decided to go ahead with him being the closest that could meet our tight budget. Naturally, the next step is to await for the 3D drawing, and that's when we knew we made the right move in choosing Sheng Lee. The concept we had laid out to him verbally was visualized in the drawing and beyond. It was absolutely beautiful, beyond my expectation. The project is currently 2 weeks from completion and it already looks 90% exactly as in the drawing. I noticed another thing about Sheng Lee upon following meetups with him as well. He was never late. Regardless of meeting for choosing tiles or discussions he was either early or on time. That says alot to me. A person of responsibility is pivotal in his line of work. As a noob on renovations, bound to come with a barrage of enquiries. Sheng Lee often answers with patience and in details which i appreciate. Furthermore, he may look young, but he's full of experience and passion. He started off as a carpenter during his teens and gradually built up his experience into an ID. He's not afraid of getting dusty and dirty as i witness myself a few times he got down to help clearing rubbish in my house. My blinds were even installed by him personally. For those who are active on FB, if you look up the photos of MRD, you might notice a younger looking chat in blue suit cutting ribbon with celeb Chen Han Wei during the opening of their UBI branch showroom. That's Sheng Lee. Across the duration when he was in charge of my reno, he mentioned he was tasked by his boss to help out in the works at this branch as well. I think that's how much trust his boss have in him. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not saying it was a perfect journey as it would be naive to expect a flawless process. No project ever is but most importantly is how can the ID help to make it work out. He is an ID and not just a contractor by trade. There are times he has insisted on certain things which i disagree on but i have to respect him for that. Eventually, every project is a statement on his profession as an ID. He also has to mediate both his contractors' work quality and client's demands. Which Sheng Lee has done well. Communication is key with all parties willing to compromise. Afterall, it's not a perfect world. His services so far has gone beyond my expectation. With his help, i have provided my wife and kids a place they can proudly call home."
